  • ▸A game lasts 30 minutes or 15 points.
  • ▸Each team has one timeout (1 min). The timeout does not stop the game clock and cannot be taken in the last 5 minutes.
  • ▸Saturday games: after time expires, three more passes remain.
  • ▸Sunday games: after the horn, finish the point. If the margin is up to 3, play to the higher score plus 1. A larger margin ends the game.

Default

Easy mixed

At least 2 women (W) must be on the line.

Recommended

Full mixed

  • ▸An extra disc flip: the winner picks the gender ratio for the first point.
  • ▸Points 2 and 3: the reverse of the first point’s ratio.
  • ▸Points 4 and 5: the same ratio as the first point.
  • ▸This pattern repeats every two points until the end of the game.
  • ▸Gender pulling: a player of the gender with 3 players on the field for that point pulls.
  • ▸A pull by the wrong gender is invalid (automatic brick).

Pull

2 m

  • ▸
A pull must be catchable — it passes over the receiving end zone at a height of up to 2 m.
  • ▸
    Invalid pull:
    • –the disc touched the floor or went out of bounds before reaching the end zone (even if it then entered it or slid / rolled out of it),
    • –the disc did not pass through the end zone at a height of up to 2 m (too high or off to the side),
    • –in full mixed: a pull by a player of the wrong gender.
  • ▸
A disc that first hits the floor in the end zone is valid — even if it then leaves it.
  • ▸
On an invalid pull: brick or start play at once (the receiving team decides).
  • ▸
A dropped pull is not a turnover if it was a catch attempt. Deliberately batting the disc instead of catching it is a turnover.

Walls and ceiling

A disc touching a wall is out of bounds — play resumes where it left the field (the pivot may be set 1 m inside the field). The ceiling is also out; play resumes right underneath that spot if it was above the field.
